A few weeks ago, we made our annual trek to the state fair. As the kids get older, they get more and more involved and excited about it. The animal buildings are a hit, and so are the shows and exhibits. This year, we fed goats, watched pig races, amazing acrobats from China, and a lumberjack contest, played miniature golf, caught fish at the DNR pond, pretended to be farmers at the "Little Hands on the Farm" area, sat on tractors, saw lots of animals, and of course, ate lots of unhealthy food! It was a full day and the kids were exhausted, but we all had a blast!
