Louisville Trip

Usually, Shawn doesn't really want to do much for his birthday. This year, though, he chose a mini-getaway to Louisville. It just so happened that the Indianapolis Indians (our minor league team) were playing the Louisville Bats the night of his birthday. Plus, he wanted to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. Besides travelling to our parents' houses, we don't go out of town too often, so it was fun to do. Xavier thoroughly enjoyed himself, even though he wasn't the birthday boy!

Aubrey and her pink bat-Everyone who goes on the tour gets a small Slugger bat (like the one Xavier is kissing below) The man giving the tour came out after we had concluded and brought Aubrey this cute pink one, too. How sweet! I do not expect special treatment for my kids, but I love when someone does something unexpected like this. It is so appreciated!
